17th Century Still Life

As a photography study, I recreated a still life inspired by the 17th-century painting 'Still Life with Roemer and Fruit' (1656) by Dutch still life painter Jan Jansz van de Velde III.

I endeavored to replicate the painting as accurately as possible by recreating the lighting, color, and composition, as well as by collecting and crafting the necessary props. This meticulous process aimed to capture the essence and intricate details of the original work.

'17th Century Still Life' was a study assignment at ArtEZ University of the Arts.
